This Product was designed for Hunting / Fishing / Recreational ATV and Sledding & Geocaching.  There will be a seasonal update to reflect the yearly changes such as new trail additions etc ... we encourage your participation.

BushMap™ contains:                           *Wildlife Management Units (WMU) as the 'smart' background             *all existing back roads by name and  radio frequency; km posts too           *contour and seismic lines                *wellsites and known corridors    *sour gas locations are visible        *searchable points in the center of every section in the wilderness and ¼ section in farm areas - another way to describe where you are in an emergency

We now have BushMap PC™, which  allows you to upload and download between your (probably) handheld Garmin GPS and your PC. This allows you to see the big picture .. of where you've been, or where you want to go.

This too  is a non-routable product.

A neat and useful feature is the  'View in Google Earth' button:

Some Garmin GPS handheld units namely the Oregon and Colorado series no longer read external maps, including Garmin's own maps.

You may have updated the firmware recently and find that BushMap is gone, you need to backdate the firmware in order to see it again.

A BushMap SD™ card & PC version costs $250.

BushMap now contains all of Alberta and NE BC.

The cards can be moved from Garmin to Garmin with no problem.

This mapset is not usable if copied.

A BushMap PC™ DVD by itself costs $150 ... this allows those who do not have an SD card slot in their Garmin to leverage the better mapping.

Waypoints and Tracks created in MapSource are freely shareable to Garmins with no SD card slot but BushMap maps will load only to BushMap SD™ cards.

In order to share your travels with us so that they can be part of the next update, you'll need at least the Trip and Waypoint Manager (or another Garmin Map product)  that comes with your handheld Garmin.

When MapSource is opened, BushMap will be found as an available mapset in the top left dropdown box.
