Welcome to the most complete and concise set of digital road datasets covering the oil and gas areas of Alberta and BC; in existence ANYWHERE. Presently that means over 85,000 km of roads not found in other maps.

PatchMap™ is Oil & Gas Patch specific mapping containing Wellsites, Compressorsites,  Plantsites Batteries, Satellites and Misc. Facilities; the Township and BC's PNG Grids and thousands of geographical points; served up on Garmin's MapSource and nRoute software.

This allows you to use the best road data available in a format that some of you may already recognize. In addition to the roads we've included all the wellsites ever licensed, and township information that resides in the background wherever you go. Free LSD conversion built right into the map ! If you want to know which LSD-Section-Township-Range-Meridian that you're in, you just move your cursor to the side and it is immediately displayed.

By utilising nRoute (Garmin's moving map program; free once you have MapSource), the laptop becomes the pivot point for all work done; from navigation  to project management, as you can have dynamic links to worksite documentation.

Sharing route designs, tracks and location information is as easy as 'File/ Send Mail...' (MapSource is required at each end) a tiny file is automatically bottled up into an attachment ready for an e-mail address... how much easier can it get? Now the office and field staff are looking at exactly the same map and the entire map does not need to be duplicated at each end!!

We have rigged up an Ultra Mobile PC (7" screen) with this system that will double as both PC and GPS ... a very good solution for some applications. We will be selling these as a system soon.

  One of Garmin's map software packages is required to obtain MapSource, Garmin's software engine, which is required to use our mapset.  We bundle these together if required.
